Water Damage Restoration
Water damage can be disastrous to a home or business owner. Leaks from roofs, toilets, dishwashers, water lines or broken pipes can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Our technicians are certified through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC), to be official Water Damage Restoration Technicians. They have advanced training about the effect water can have on your structure and the protocols for drying out your structure. They understand the proper procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold. And being certified by the IICRC, we follow a strict protocol they have created.
The Water Damage Restoration Process
You will meet the job supervisor and go over the water damaged areas. Our crew will set up plastic barriers that protect your home while we do any demolition and work on the drying process. Our initial investigation will determine how much dehumidification will be needed to dry out your home or business
Once containment barriers are in place we will start removing any wet drywall and begin drying inside the walls. If there is carpet damage we will pull the pad under the carpet to aid the carpet to dry. We will also remove any furniture from the wet areas to help ensure no mold problems arise later.
After removal is finished moisture readings are re-checked and drying equipment is put in place. We use dehumidifiers that remove moisture from the air and dry your home. We also use fans to help circulate the air so the dehumidification process can work best. Once the equipment is in place we will keep the equipment on 24 hours a day until the process is complete. The job supervisor will monitor the drying process each day until the structure drys to acceptable levels.
Mold Eviction NW will document the drying process as and create a photo journal with “before” and “after” pictures of the job. This is helpful for insurance companies so they can view the water damage and the restoration without going onsite.
Choosing a water damage restoration company is completely decided by the homeowner. With our expert technicians and attention to every detail, you can trust Mold Eviction NW to restore your house back to normal.
